WHY BNA ?

Blue Nature Aotearoa is equipping young people with the skills, confidence, and networks to move from learning to leadership, empowering young people to design real-world solutions, restore and reimagine our oceans.

We are creating the 'blue' workforce of the future through hands-on projects and mentorships. Our program supports practical, local solutions that can be tested, showcased, and scaled, as well as pathways into study, careers, and enterprise.

Regeneration Challenge

A national challenge supporting rangatahi to use the Impact Project model to develop innovative solutions to real marine conservation challenges in their communities.

Impact projects

Student-led projects where young people explore real marine challenges, work with mentors and experts, and develop practical ideas, solutions and action.
